DVD is an exceptional way to archive training videos, product and
services promotions, trade shows, family videos, weddings and more.
The quality of a DVD cannot exceed that of the video source from which
it is copied, so if the
original tape is on VHS, the quality of the DVD will not exceed
that of VHS.

Some of the benefits of DVD include
- Long term preservation of the video (DVD's life expectancy is
100+ years) versus 10-20 years for a magnetic signal recorded onto
video tape.
- A DVD is the same physical size as a CD and like a CD, it can
store video, audio and data information. It
can hold up to seven times more than a CD – that’s about 9 hours of
audio, 120 minutes of video or the equivalent of 3,400 floppy
diskettes on a single DVD.
